Proactive Pelvic Health Centre is the first private integrative pelvic health clinic in Toronto. We assist persons of all genders — of all ages and stages — with pelvic health issues, such as chronic pelvic pain, sexual pain & dysfunction and incontinence. Our mission is simple: to improve the quality of life of those we treat with professional, confidential and compassionate care.
Our team is comprised of a collaborative group including: pelvic floor physiotherapists, massage therapist, naturopathic doctor, registered kinesiologist and a certified mindfulness practitioner.
We are looking for a registered social worker, psychologist and/or psychotherapist with a special interest in treating this population to join our team. The ideal candidate would have experience and training in treating relational and sexual dysfunction for both couples and individuals. An interest in sex therapy, treating chronic pain as well as the pre and postnatal population would be of benefit; more specifically for conditions such as trauma, depression, stress and anxiety.
Education:
-Minimum of a Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology
-training in CBT, relational psychotherapy and other evidence based models of psychotherapy
